Workshop – Thursday 11/9

Hello friends!

Just a quickie – I’m back and full of stories from my South Korean Cheongju Craft Biennale adventure – keep an eye here and on socials for a bountiful week in review all this week

AND

I’m leading a short class on reclaiming electrical copper wire to make jewellery this Thursday at MJAC. Please come along and we’ll make while we catch up!

Please feel free to share the details below 😉

RECYCLED JEWELLERY | MELISSA CAMERON — Midland Junction Arts Centre

In this class you will investigate scrap metals, diagnose their suitability for jewellery and learn basic clean-up techniques. Using the provided recycled materials, you will strip copper wire from its plastic sheath, then design, cut and manipulate this wire combined with recycled and found materials to make jewellery and other objects.

Melissa will supply pre-made stainless steel earring hooks as well as silk and waxed linen cord to hang pendants.
