Day 6

My last day in Seoul was spent wandering around Doota, a large shopping mall that Sally had taken me to for coffee earlier in the week, and around the nearby underground and above ground markets. I bought souvenirs, lunch, and a small covered rice dish in steel that will one day submit to the saw-blade, as all of my favourite souvenirs tend to do… In fact, the reason I managed to spend a week in Korea at all was down to a plate I bought in a car-boot market in Edinburgh. Who knows where the dish may lead me?

I flew out that night on a plane that seemed to be solely occupied with newlyweds in matching outfits, or at least matched jumpers. It would seem that a honeymoon in Sydney, much like the aforementioned paired outfits, is the latest fashion.
