Came across this via the Italian Jewellery Scape blog. A range of jewellery based on wounds, by jewellery designer Superfertile, a.k.a Kali Arulpragasm (who also happens to be M.I.A.‘s big sister.)

I think the above image is great. I’m not a fan of the jewels up close though. They lose the disturbing bodily connotations, which I think is their strength, when you can see their shiny gold frames and individually set gems.
