Jocale – according to the online Latin dictionary it means jewel, though according to Wikipedia, it traces back further to mean ‘plaything’ in Latin.
At Abbotsford Convent the current definition is; ‘an exhibition at the C3 gallery’. I know, cos I went to the opening of Jocale last night. It’s an amazing show. The C3 Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 5pm. The show closes on the 7th of August.
