Our project leader for the Er Pavilion, Katherine Ashe of vittinoAshe, was in Canberra to find out that <a href=\"https:\/\/landscapeaustralia.com\/articles\/2024-australian-urban-design-awards-commendation-in-built-projects-local-and-neighbourhood-scale\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/landscapeaustralia.com\/articles\/2024-australian-urban-design-awards-commendation-in-built-projects-local-and-neighbourhood-scale\/\">we won a commendation<\/a> in the Built Projects \u2013 Local and Neighbourhood Scale category. Yay team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/architectureau.com\/articles\/2024-australian-urban-design-awards-winners\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/architectureau.com\/articles\/2024-australian-urban-design-awards-winners\/\">You can read more about the awards<\/a> and the introduction of a new body &#8211; Parliamentary Friends of Australian Urban Design &#8211; that were also announced on the night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winner of the award for Built Projects \u2013 Local and Neighbourhood Scale was <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/landscapeaustralia.com\/articles\/2024-australian-urban-design-awards-winner-of-built-projects-local-and-neighbourhood-scale\/\" target=\"_blank\">Transforming Southbank Boulevard<\/a> \u2013 <em>City of Melbourne with TCL and Mike Hewson<\/em>. Suffice to say our plucky team from WA &#8211; vittinoAshe in collaboration with Brendan Moore, Melissa Cameron and Syrinx &#8211; were very happy to receive our commendation, alongside <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/landscapeaustralia.com\/articles\/2024-australian-urban-design-awards-commendation-in-built-projects-local-and-neighbourhood-scale-1\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lilydale and Mooroolbark Stations<\/a> \u2013 <em>BKK Architects and Kyriacou Architects and Jacobs and Aspect Studios<\/em>, another big project from Victoria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Move over Hollywood, last Monday the 18th of March saw the 2024 Australian Urban Design Awards.
