I&#8217;ve got a proposition for you&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m heading to Australia soon and while I&#8217;m there I plan to take my <a title=\"I introduced the exhibition to this blog back in July\" href=\"https:\/\/www.melissacameron.net\/blog\/?p=6130\" target=\"_blank\">One Design<\/a> exhibition to Perth, where it&#8217;s going on display in the gallery space at <a title=\"Contemporary Metal - Studio, gallery and teaching workshop in Perth\" href=\"http:\/\/www.contemporarymetal.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Contemporary Metal<\/a> in the first week of November. But before I go west, I&#8217;m looking for a space to hold a one-day-only pop-up exhibition in Melbourne on Saturday the 25th or Sunday the 26th of October.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Can you help??<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The One Design collection was recently exhibited in Sydney at Studio 20\/17 as part of the <a title=\"Sydney Design 2014 - my work page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sydneydesign.com.au\/2014\/event\/one-design-three-materials-30-individual-jewels\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sydney Design lineup for 2014<\/a>. It consists of 30 pieces of wearable jewellery in stainless steel, titanium, 925 silver and enamel, as well as a laser cut reproduction of the original pattern from which all the works were made, in timber.<\/p>\n<p>As for the exhibition timetable: the pieces would be set up, on view and then removed, all in the space of 8 hours. The exhibition design is not intrusive, is tailored to the works and will not require any fixings to walls. This means the space doesn&#8217;t need bare surfaces or any display items and it makes it easy for the exhibition to inhabit practically any space, with no patching nor painting required after the de-installation.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking for a weatherproof and reasonably lit space in Melbourne to host the exhibition for a day &#8211; any space, though by preference in the CBD &#8211; that would be accessible and amenable to a small amount of foot traffic over the course of a day.
