Upcoming opportunities to exhibit, learn, earn or perhaps even teach, from all over the world, including the internetz.\u00a0 ** New additions **<\/span> (since last month’s post.) It’s a bit early this month but there are a couple of new additions closing next week.<\/p>\n

Undated Opportunities<\/em><\/p>\n

**<\/span> Studio 20\/17 seeks guest curators<\/a>. How often does a well established gallery invite people to play inside their walls? Get amongst it!<\/p>\n

Patina Gallery seeks Master International Artists<\/a>. Make \u2018Soul-Stirring\u2019 works? Wanna be one of 3 artists added to their stable? No deadline, but post went up Jan 23rd, so perhaps sooner rather than later?<\/p>\n

Tributaries: Call for entries.<\/a> The Metal Museum, in Memphis, has an ongoing call for exhibitions from emerging and mid-career artists. First deadline Feb 2013, for upcoming shows, and they keep applications on file for 2 years.<\/p>\n

The Imperial Centre for the Arts + Sciences<\/a> in North Carolina have a permanent exhibition call out, with shows booked 2-3 years in advance.<\/p>\n

Lord Coconut<\/a> in Melbourne has outdone himself by publishing this listing of opportunities for artists in his gallery. As ever, this is to exhibit jewellery for men. Thanks to Karen at Melbourne Jeweller<\/a> for the heads up.<\/p>\n

Opportunities with deadlines<\/em><\/p>\n

**<\/span> New book on enameling in the making!<\/a> CALL for Artists! Deadline June 10th.<\/p>\n

Cheongju International Craft Biennale.<\/a> South Korean competition and exhibition. This year\u2019s theme: Something old, something new<\/em>. Prize money amounts, and amount of awards being made have changed since 2011, with more money for less artists being the general trend (this info is available under the \ucca8\ubd80\ud30c\uc77c (2)<\/b><\/a> link which appears just below the \u2018Attach Entry Form\u2019 link, which is all on the landing page from my link above). June 13, 2013.<\/p>\n

**<\/span> UBI Top Young 2013 Graduation Series for Contemporary Asian Jewellery<\/a>. Were you born and educated in Asia? Then here’s an award for you! Deadline June 15th 2013.<\/p>\n

**<\/span> 10x10x10xTieton<\/a>. Mighty Tieton International Art Exhibition 2013 . Deadline June 17, 2013.<\/p>\n

Making Jewelry Magic with the Orion Pulse Arc Welders<\/a>: OK, so it\u2019s just a class at the Southern Highland Craft Center<\/a> in Asheville, NC, but I really want to go. I\u2019ve been stopping into Orion\u2019s page a lot of late (Tony Price \u2013 whoever that is \u2013 still keeps on trying to engage me with chat each time I open the window\u2026) so when I saw this I was already primed to go. Anyway, it\u2019s only $110, and on June 22nd and 23rd 2013.<\/p>\n

Craft and Design Enquiry<\/a> have a call for papers for their OPEN section, for Issue 6, 2014. Deadline for submission June 30 2013.<\/p>\n

AJF Emerging Artist Award.<\/a> The 2013 edition of this competition closes midnight on June 30th.<\/p>\n

Play for Display<\/a>. Open call out for jewellery to be displayed and \u2018played\u2019 \u2013 worn by gallery visitors. In conjunction with G\u00f6teborg International Biennial for Contemporary Art, it will go on show at gallery Four. Deadline June 30th 2013.<\/p>\n

Lewton-Brain Foldform Competition 2013<\/a>. Competition with a $25 entry fee, judged by the man himself \u2013 with others. Deadline: Midnight U.S. ET on Monday July 1, 2013.<\/p>\n

**<\/span> Enjoia\u2019t 2013<\/a>.\u00a0Prize for Contemporary Jewellery Making. First deadline July 12th 1013.<\/p>\n

Participation and Exchange<\/a> \u2013 2013 Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia conference in Brisbane, Australia. Conference dates: 12-14 July 2013, with early-bird registrations open now!<\/p>\n

Enamel Surfaces \u2013 Add and Subtract<\/a>. Workshop with enamel artist Elizabeth Turrell @ RMIT University in Melbourne. (more<\/a>) Dates 17th of July \u2013 21st July 2013.<\/p>\n

**<\/span> Itami International Craft Competition<\/a>. The Museum of Arts and Crafts, Itami, Japan host this competition exhibition, an this year we’re back to the theme of jewellery. Entries due (by mail) July 31st, 2013<\/p>\n

**<\/span> 2013 Beijing International Jewelry Art Biennial<\/a>. Jewellery competition, deadline for entries September 1st, 2013.<\/p>\n

**<\/span> Materials Hard and Soft<\/a>. Juried craft exhibition, open to people in the US only. Deadline 6th September 2013.<\/p>\n
