{"id":3893,"date":"2011-11-11T09:19:35","date_gmt":"2011-11-10T22:19:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.melissacameron.net\/blog\/?p=3893"},"modified":"2011-11-11T09:19:35","modified_gmt":"2011-11-10T22:19:35","slug":"sharing-is","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.melissacameron.net\/blog\/?p=3893","title":{"rendered":"sharing is&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>caring?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read a few really interesting articles this week that I thought I&#8217;d share.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"via David Byrne's website\" href=\"http:\/\/journal.davidbyrne.com\/2011\/10\/10222011-the-subjectivity-of-perception.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Subjectivity of Perception<\/a> on <a title=\"yes, THAT David Byrne\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Byrne\" target=\"_blank\">David Byrne<\/a>&#8216;s journal, amongst other things, talks about how the eye and brain collaborate to feed us misinformation, and how some cool artists are using this research in their work.<\/p>\n<p>On Unmaking Things <a title=\"via Unmaking Things blog\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.rca.ac.uk\/unmakingthings\/2011\/11\/07\/%E2%80%98at-cross-purposes%E2%80%99\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018At Cross Purposes? When Art History Meets Design History\u2019<\/a> by Justine Boussard, on, you guessed it, design versus art history, and how we all can get along, yet that each is still important.<\/p>\n<p>and finally<\/p>\n<p>Dr Marcus Bunyan with a <a title=\"via the Art Blart blog\" href=\"http:\/\/artblart.wordpress.com\/2011\/11\/08\/review-manstyle-at-the-national-gallery-of-victoria-melbourne\/\" target=\"_blank\">review<\/a> of the Man Style exhibition at the NGV. <a title=\"Part B!\" href=\"http:\/\/part-b.crimsoncactus.net\" target=\"_blank\">Part B<\/a> took a trip out to see both parts of the Man Style exhibition a few months back, so it&#8217;s interesting to see a review of the show.
