{"id":3499,"date":"2011-08-19T05:03:06","date_gmt":"2011-08-18T19:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.melissacameron.net\/blog\/?p=3499"},"modified":"2011-08-18T16:23:05","modified_gmt":"2011-08-18T06:23:05","slug":"online-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.melissacameron.net\/blog\/?p=3499","title":{"rendered":"Online Exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today marks the beginning of <a title=\"Piece Rrogressions via Crafthaus\" href=\"http:\/\/crafthaus.ning.com\/group\/piece-progressions\" target=\"_blank\">Piece Progressions<\/a>, an online exhibition on <a title=\"Crafthaus!\" href=\"http:\/\/crafthaus.ning.com\" target=\"_blank\">Crafthaus<\/a> that several of my pictures are involved in, which was curated by fellow-jewellist <a title=\"Miriam's website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.miriamrowe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Miriam Rowe<\/a>. The title is fairly eloquent in its explanation of the theme, in that the eight images included from each artist are meant to illustrate the making process of a single piece. There is also a brief commentary from each artist to explain the images.<\/p>\n<p>The work I&#8217;m showing off in this &#8216;virtual&#8217; gallery is currently in Sydney taking part in the <a title=\"Love Lace - Powerhouse Website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.powerhousemuseum.com\/lovelace\/\" target=\"_blank\">Love Lace<\/a> exhibition. (I might have mentioned that exhibition earlier sometime? ;))<\/p>\n<p>There is of course an exception to the static image presentations, a wonderful video by <a title=\"Jen's website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jentownsend.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jen Townsend<\/a> of her &#8221;Queen of the Night&#8221; necklace.
