A range of jewellery based on wounds, by jewellery designer <a title=\"Superfertile website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.superfertile.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Superfertile<\/a>, a.k.a <a title=\"via Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kali_Arulpragasam\" target=\"_blank\">Kali Arulpragasm<\/a> (who also happens to be <a title=\"MIA - recording artist\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M.I.A._%28artist%29\" target=\"_blank\">M.I.A.<\/a>&#8216;s big sister.)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Murder: Violence and elegance have been thoughtfully crafted in incredible detail to produce a range of beautiful and breathtaking pieces in rubies, sapphires and garnets, carefully selected to resemble bullet wounds, cuts, machine gun fire to the body, slashes, butchering and hacking of the throat, head and ears to portray the inhumanity around the world.&#8221;<br \/>\n[From the Murder\u00a0 Autumn 2011 catalogue on the <a title=\"Superfertile website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.superfertile.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>I think the above image is great. I&#8217;m not a fan of the jewels up close though.
