For those still following, the posts on my recent sojourn to Bristol will continue, probably til I run out of things to say. That could take a while, so I&#8217;m going to intersperse those posts with my usual; ie, more random guff.<\/p>\n<p>I read the <a title=\"Nervous System design studio - website \" href=\"http:\/\/n-e-r-v-o-u-s.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">Nervous System<\/a> <a title=\"Nervous Sytsem - blog\" href=\"http:\/\/n-e-r-v-o-u-s.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">blog<\/a>, (for fairly obvious reasons &#8211; jewellers who use CAD and incorporate generative design in their works &#8211; what&#8217;s not to love?) which recently has done what I think is a very wonderful thing. They have released some of <a title=\"Nervous System on Thingiverse\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/nervoussystem\" target=\"_blank\">their designs<\/a> as free files on <a title=\"Thingiverse - 3D printing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Thingiverse<\/a>. What does that mean? Well, the files can now be downloaded and printed, via any favourite 3D printing device or company, at the makers\/customers leisure.<\/p>\n<p>Makes me wish I had some sort of extrusion\/making machine. I could go a <a title=\"MakerBot Industries website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.makerbot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Makerbot<\/a>; I reckon it would be fun to play around with.
