I like baking, puzzles and making 3D designs from 2D objects, so a cookie cutter that turns your biscuits into model-making-materials is so far up my ally it&#8217;s practically nestling in my garage between the car and the &#8216;outside&#8217; broom. Big props to Nami Mizuguchi on being a culinary and geometry genius.<\/p>\n<p>And while we&#8217;re on cookie cutters, there&#8217;s these from <a title=\"Allan McCollum's website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.allanmccollum.net\" target=\"_blank\">Allan McCollum&#8217;s<\/a> ongoing project (which I first saw a while ago on <a title=\"Allan McCollum's cutters-in-progress via Katie Jayne Britchford's blog\" href=\"http:\/\/katiejaynebritchford.blogspot.com\/2010\/08\/larry-little-for-allan-mccollum.html\" target=\"_blank\">Kaleidoscope<\/a>) in which he is attempting to make a shape for every person on the planet.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine being able to use them all &#8211; that&#8217;s a lot of flour and eggs&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>STOP PRESS! A <a title=\"Frank the CNC cuts his own birthday cake - via Ponoko\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.ponoko.com\/2010\/10\/31\/frank-turns-five\/\" target=\"_blank\">cake cutting-cnc machine<\/a>. One (rather complicated) way to avoid the chore of dividing up a birthday cake.
