This month, in the work section, Melissa has put up some images of the works that featured in the recently concluded Return exhibition in Perth. If you're looking for the others that featured in the Perth show, several of the 'recycled series' works are already on the site under the Katherine Kalaf and Recylced Objects sections.
Melissa has recently featured in the show First and Last in keeper gallery at gaffa, which was curated by Zoe Brand. In this show she exhibited the first piece she ever made, a brass ring, and a titanium neckpiece which was still warm from her bench.
Right now she is working on a collaborative project with visual artist Chloe Vallance. The pair will exhibit the body of work - which includes new jewellery pieces, objects and drawings - at Hand Held Gallery in early December 2010.
